SADC: Bicycle Accident

Hooray!  The first month of SADC closes with a BANG!  More like a CRASH!  BANG! AHH, MY ARM!  I had a terrible bike accident trying to avoid a pedestrian.  It was...fairly hilarious and the occasion needed to be marked.  I'm okay!  The pedestrian is okay!  My bicycle horn...not as lucky.

One month down!  Eleven to go!

This week ends with a whimper and a sigh with a lightly penciled sketch. I was watching the movie, "The Wave" with my sister and was swiftly running out of time. Terribly disappointing. I am...quite ashamed. It was a sketch and it was done! And that's all that matters!

Week one ends successfully! At this point, I have purchased a new sketchbook to house my drawings in and have started doing all my sketch challenge drawings in blue pencil. The first sketch in the sketchbook is a scene with a lovely jungle woman and her animal counterpart. I'm actually quite pleased with this one too.

TRYING to mimic the style from yesterday with another character from the same series. This time it's Daphne. This time things didn't go as well....

IT BEGINS AGAIN.

[UPDATE:] After a horrific computer death in late December, I was stranded without posting abilities for a while. It wasn't until recently that I got my computer back. I did, however, start the Sketch-a-Day Challenge (SADC) on the first of the year, as I always do anyway. It's only been NOW that I've had a chance to upload and retroactively post. The drawings that come after were all drawn on the appropriate days, I'm just NOW getting to post them. Don't expect too much conversation with these as I'm just going to be trying to post them. This year begins with the four faces I draw every year. I was hideously ill when I drew these--spent my New Year's FRESH out of the hospital and was little more than a bundle of disoriented nerves. Enjoy!
