It's like a pencil spasm! I wanted to draw something SUPER INTERESTING and kind of ended up with...whatever I wanted. Which was a lot of familiar stuff and then this...weird monster where EVEN I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS.

Like last year, I have ran out of time to post my drawings with a new project I had started. So, I am back posting drawings that were CREATED on the days, but I could not post. Please enjoy a FLOOD of sketches!

SADC: Request! Cthulhu

This was a fascinating request that INSTANTLY grabbed me! I've never drawn Cthulhu before, so the opportunity that my friend, Randy, gave me was too good to pass up. I really enjoyed trying my hand at it...maybe because I love monsters.  At any rate, I think I would love to draw him again in the future. Too fun.

I thought, "Oh, what ELSE is Halloween themed? I know! Mummies! Pfft, NO ONE EVER ACTUALLY dresses up as a mummy in real life."

The next day, BAM!  I saw no less than THREE kids dressed up as mummies. 

It's a conspiracy, I tell you.

I supposed this isn't TERRIBLY Halloween-y...not specifically anyway. But, I suppose that I am working on the angle of horror movie or ANY THING scary/creepy. So, on this premise, SEA MONSTER thing.

SADC: Critter

My 100% FAVORITE horror movie as a kid. I ADORED "Critters" and have nostalgia for it to this day. SIGH. One day, I will buy a critter movie prop and have it in my home. I WILL DISPLAY THAT THING LIKE A MING VASE.

Ihren is from one of my stories. He's a monster known as an Erlkonig (it's German...don't ask me to pronounce it...). And there's the little girl I always draw in the upper right...looking pouty.  Then there's two characters from a mini-Halloween comic thing I want to do.  Penelope and Ernest.  At least...his name is CURRENTLY "Ernest".  I would love to do a Halloween comic.  I really would; it's my favorite holiday. :)
