Feb 5th SADC: Character Attempts and a Savage Girl

Double feature, so to speak, today! I decided to do some work during my sketch challenge and have started on some new character designs for a different project. I also had a little bit of sketching time before my class began so I sketched the girl.

Yes!  I've started a new class and I am just SO excited for it! I may post some of the work I'm doing for it here. For now, just BEFORE class sketches. Fun!

I do work on it every day...it's if it's part of the CHALLENGE or not.  I think I enjoy showing the process.  The bottom left is a guest drawing in my sketchbook from my sister.  So the VERY BOTTOM RIGHT drawing is not mine.  Don't want to take credit for someone else's work. :)

This is the kind of process when I'm designing something. I work with various shapes and widths and lengths--I try to really work through as much as I can to try and create something that appeals to me.

Sadly, my scanner has not been kind to me in scanning pages lately.  Very smudgy-looking and dirty. :(  Sorry.
