A rejected sketch for a project I've been working on with Lee.

SADC: Moody Face

I miss drawing Lee, too. Even though he is not quite so crazy.

SADC: Dogpile

Again, not trying to post parts of my personal project (not bad alliteration there), but I hadn't drawn anything else today. Whoops! DOGPILE! :D

SADC: Lee's Abilities

I was hoping to not post something for what I've really been working on, but this was the only thing that I had from yesterday that was decent to post and not DIRECTLY connected to the project. We remember Lee from last year, right? No? Well, it's Lee.

SADC: More Doodles of the Gang

There's an extra doodle at the bottom of Ulysses and Richard. Ulysses is so saying, "I have a mech...specifically for you." Ha.

SADC: Designs Designs

Ulysses and Richard get some more costume stuff. I like this whole black bodysuit tie through. Crazy gloves for Ulysses because, you know, mechanical stuff. I thought he should have a lot of pouches for gear and things of that nature. Also, I like the nose showing for Richard's outfit, though the pose and...everything else is rancid. UGH. He is clearly the most difficult. I also drew just heads to see how they meshed as a group...not so well akshully, I think. Back to the drawing board....

SADC: More Costumes

Was trying out a few things with Lee and Richard. Lee's outfit is pretty much done. I tried something a little "wrestle-y" for Richard. I wanted some kind of a mask that covered most of his face but not his hair. DEFINITELY want the hair showing. I hate this design though.

SADC: Clothes and Heights

A bit of a stray from normal SADC. This focuses on the clothing and the heights for the characters. No faces. Also, some obvious digital editing to get them all closer for a height comparison. Ooooo. Ahhhh.....

SADC: More Lee Sketches

Sick of this guy, huh? Just trying some more things out. I think I'm moving on after these.

SADC: Back to Lee

Still working on more Lee stuff, really trying to narrow down a design. Nixed the black eyes, going for a spikier look to the hair, less soft anyway. Ta...da?

SADC: Repetitive-Lee

Just trying some more things. Mostly working with the black eyes. I think they are too scary. I switched to all white instead in the last one there. Not sure if that's going to work out. I'm kind of liking the hair though. May flatten it more.

SADC: Lee Again

Still working with him...trying to not make his hair such poofy good-guy hair. I do like it that way a bit though. I like the profile shot the best. I think I'm going to give him a near-constantly crooked smile. The black eyes are something I'm playing with too. I think it makes his whole face look like a skull...I kinda like that. Too creepy?

SADC: Lee

Lee was already attempted and designed, basically. Now I'm going through and trying to refine the design. His cheekbones are proving to be a bit of a problem and I am conflicted on the fluffy hair. MORE TO BE DONE WITH HIM.
